The free ski and hiking bus in the holiday region Barbian takes you comfortably from your accommodation (Farm Planatscherhof) to the most popular winter adventure areas of Val Gardena, Seiser Alm, Mount Plose, Gitschberg, Jochtal, Villandrer and Villnösser Alm as well as Rittner Horn.
Let us show you the most beautiful skiing and hiking areas in the Dolomites. The shuttle service will pick you up directly at our farm at 8.45 a.m. The return trip from the ski and hiking areas is at 4:30 p.m. Even non-skiers may use the comfortable and free winter ski bus.

The winter creates a magic atmosphere in Val d’Isarco with the snow-capped mountain peaks. In the highlands of the surrounding mountains in the winter months you may organize ski tours in the snowy winter landscape and snow-shoe excursions through deep snow fields. The white snow cover and the silence of the mountains form the perfect basis for unforgettable hours in the Valle Isarco.
The varied natural toboggan runs in the area guarantee plenty of winter family fun. During a walk on the winter hiking trails on the alpine pastures of Barbianer, Villanderer, Feldthurner, Villnösser and Seiser Alm you may enjoy the clear mountain air and gather new strength for upcoming challenges in the sublime silence of the alpine high mountain landscape.

Numerous ski resorts with first class groomed slopes await you during your winter vacation on the farm. The closest ski area is located on the local mountain of Barbiano – the Corno del Renon. Sunny slopes with a total length of 15 kilometres leave no wishes unfulfilled. The wide slopes feature easy to moderate difficulty levels and enjoy great popularity especially among families with children. The runs start at a height of 2,260 meters. Snowboarders and skiers will find plenty of opportunities to romp freely on the slopes. The restaurants and mountain huts offer typical South Tyrolean dishes and Italian cuisine. A ski school for kids will teach children how to ski, and in the evening alpine huts and quaint bars invite you to some après-ski. On Mount Plose, in Val Gardena and on the Alpe di Siusi there are more ski resorts awaiting you for alpine ski fun.

In many cross-country ski trails you will enjoy the winter mountain landscape in the holiday region Barbiano. On the Villandro Alp you will experience a contemplative silence when cross-country skiing through the snowy landscape. The “Rinderplatz” trail has a length of six kilometres and the “Foggoia” trail offers eight kilometres in length. Both tracks feature an easy to moderate difficulty level and are therefore perfect also for beginners. In the water and wellness world – the Aquarena in Bressanone – during your winter vacation on the farm you can enjoy a fun vacation day with the entire family. Christmas markets, farmers markets and weekly markets round off your winter experience.
